Honorees as mentors will be introduced to their mentees at the Gala Event that will officially match them together. Honorees are not expected to adopt their mentees. .
It is not an adoption program but a mentorship one which only aims to confer a moral duty upon the honorees to see to the success of their mentees through education, counseling, encouragement, communication, love, concern and most especially global exposure. .
Honorees and mentees are expected to familiarize themselves with each other and create a filial bond that under-privileged children rarely experience. More than the friendship, the honorees will be morally responsible for the following, among other things they may wish to do for their mentees:
Following up, through the Centre of Excellence, on the educational progress of their mentees. Approaching organizations or individuals for additional funds or materials for their mentees's education. Counseling their mentees on career guidance. Supporting their mentees financially if they can. Communicating with their mentees.
