The Centre for Excellence shall be the actual mentorship appendage of the "NIGERIA'S 40 UNDER 40" project.

The mentorship program will be an education fund which will give under-served children the opportunity to not only enhance their theoretical education, but most importantly broaden their global horizons and build their intellectual capacities. .
It shall have a separate management team that will be responsible for the day to day running of the mentorship program; it shall do this in conjunction with reputable children and youth-based non-governmental organizations.

Its responsibilities shall include but not be limited to the following: . Following up on the mentor/mentee relationships
Appropriating incoming finances for the education of mentees Liaising with youth-based organizations to achieve purpose Liaising with and contacting donor organizations for additional funding
